This study aims to examine the blurring boundaries between the front stage, the area where someone presents a 'show' to the audience and the backstage, the area when someone does not give a 'show' to the public due to the presence of Facebook social media. The theory used in this research is Erving Geoffman's Dramaturgy theory. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with text analysis methods and examines nine photos that show the backstage being brought to the public space through the photo tagging feature. The results of the study indicate that there is a tendency that the photo tagging feature makes the boundaries between the front stage and backstage blurry. This can happen because: First, technology provides a new communication pattern that cannot be regulated by traditional communication patterns. When we open the Facebook news feed, we get access to get communications that were originally intended only for a certain audience, so what we get is actually the backstages of the actor's behavior that is not intended for us. Second, it is possible that the boundaries between front stage and backstage behavior have been changed along with changes in technology-mediated communication, allowing behavior previously defined as backstages, to be accepted in the front stages region.
