TREN PERKEMBANGAN BISNIS APOTEK DI PROVINSI BENGKULU PASCA PANDEMI COVID-19

In 2020, the outbreak of a new virus called CoronaVirus and its disease called Covid-19 has galvanized the world. The origin of this virus is from Wuhan, China which was discovered in December 2019 and reportedly entered Indonesia on March 2, 2020. To protect themselves from this virus, many people are flocking to pharmacies to buy masks, vitamins and Covid-19 medicines. The Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia officially ended on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 through Presidential Decree Number 17 of 2023. During the pandemic there was a high growth in the pharmacy business. Researchers want to see how the pharmacy business trends that occurred before and during and after the Covid-19 pandemic through data on the number of existing pharmacies from 2018 to 2022 in Bengkulu Province. The analysis method used uses a qualitative approach with secondary data collection methods through literature studies and electronic media. The results of the study show that the growth of the pharmacy business from 2018 to 2022 is always positive with an average growth of 32.90% with a peak in 2020 to 2021 of 89.16%.
