Abstract

With today's technological developments, computers have many benefits for humans in various fields, namely in the fields of information, education, business and communication. And one of the developing computer technologies today is Augmented Reality (AR). Augmented Reality is a direct or indirect interaction of a real world physical environment that has been added by adding to the virtual computer generated information. AR are two types of interactive technology and are registered in 3D and combine real and virtual objects. At this time AR has been widely used in various fields such as medicine, military, manufacturing, entertainment, museums, educational games, education, and others. This application uses the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) method, which is built using Blender, CorelDraw X7, Photoshop CS6, Vuforia SDK, Unity. Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) are plants that have many benefits and are planted in yards that are managed by families. Medicinal plants can be used as medicines that are safe, do not contain chemicals, are cheap, and are easy to obtain. For now, many explanations about Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) are only available in the form of images in a book, but the learning process in general can be more easily applied using technology assistance, namely through interactive augmented reality learning media, because the community will be more interested in It can be easier to know and understand the material for Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) and its properties which are explained by being equipped with a 3D object through an Android-based application. This research can be useful for people who do not know much about the efficacy of family medicinal plants using Augmented Reality technology.
