Abstract

Augmented Reality is a technology that can be utilized in various fields, especially in the field of education (education). With this augmented reality technology, material delivery is easier and more interesting. In designing this application using the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) method, where this method consists of 6 stages, namely concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, and distribution. The design of this Augmented Reality application is to present hydroponic material and present 3D objects in the NFT (Nutrieunt Film Technique) system in the Plant Biotechnology course so that students are more interactive. This augmented reality application designed can be used on an Android-based mobile operating system if an application is available on the Android platform (not on IOS) and at least the KitKat operating system. This research was conducted in the Plant Biotechnology subject, Agrotechnology Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Majalengka University.
