Shallot farmers work to fulfill family life in the village or areas to get a quality harvest. To keep plants protected and protected from pests and plant diseases, farmers install lighting. Farmers use lighting to repel pests so they don't interfere with onion plants, but pests gather at the point of light. The system carried out by farmers is to come in the morning and evening to turn the On-Off lights on and off manually. This causes negligence in turning on and off the lights which results in wastage of electricity. The research objective is to design an Arduino Uno-based automatic lighting system to make it easier for farmers to control the process of using lights. The research method used is Rapid Application Development (RAD), by analyzing problems in the use of lamps and designing automatic lighting system tools. The results of research and testing of the tool system are equipped with several components, namely Arduino Uno sending commands to the Real Time Clock (RTC) to read time data that will be displayed on the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). The Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) reads the time at 18.00- 05.30 WITA, the Arduino Uno sends instructions to the Relay to turn on the lights and vice versa when the Liquid Crystal Display displays at 05.30-18.00 WITA, the Relay turns the lights off. The lights are turned on at night to attract the focus of the pest on the light beam, brought in a container filled with water to catch or contain the pests and eventually they can die. Conclusion Real Time Clock (LCD) and Relay work well according to the programmed time input.
