Abstract

The purpose of this study is to apply the k-means clustering process in the form of cellphone brand data and the application of the k-means algorithm to the data on the use of student cell phones in Bandarlampung colleges which are clustered into 3 clusters, namely very good, good, sufficient in terms of technology needs. The method used is the k-means clustering algorithm, the results of this study are that 120 students have cell phones with very good categories, 148 have good cellphones and 54 students have enough cellphones, which means that students in the Bandarlampung area use the most HP brands. with a good category as seen in terms of technology needs.
