SISTEM INFORMASI PENERIMAAN PESERTA DIDIK BARU (PPDB) MENGGUNAKAN FRAMEWORK LARAVEL 8 (STUDI KASUS : SMK WIDYA DIRGANTARA)

Abstract

Widya Dirgantara Vocational School always conducts the development and implementation of education to become a school with high performance and nuances of technology. Advances in information technology bring changes in various fields of life, including education. Especially the New Student Admission (PPDB), which is now online. The admission system for new students at the Widya Dirgantara Vocational School itself is still manual, starting from the registration process, selection, to announcement of selection results and this makes data processing not run quickly and difficult to update. Another problem that arises is when the committee enters more than one data, then the data from other computers must be combined to get the final result. This problem can be overcome with a software / online application that is specifically designed to handle the process of accepting new students. This application is expected to be able to expedite the PPDB process, streamline time, minimize paper usage, cut the cost of implementing PPDB and the system can run faster in providing selection results to prospective new students. In this study, the author will create a PPDB Online application using the Laravel framework to solve these problems. Assisted with other software that already has its own advantages in its field. Laravel uses the Model-View-Controller (MVC) concept. Laravel has an expressive and elegant syntax. Made by laying the foundations easy and freeing you to be creative without bothering the little things.
