Newspapers as a company are certainly required to make a profit. News strategy is an important part of whether the media has interest for readers. The purpose of this research is to find out and explain how the analysis of the use of Serawai tribal language towards the increase of the daily circulation of Radar Selatan. The type of research used is qualitative research with descriptive methods, data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The technique of determining informants using snowballsampling technique, there are 7 (Seven) informants selected in this study. Furthermore, to analyze the data is done by following the three stages of data analysis offered by Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation (display), and conclusion drawing (verification). The result of the research explains that one of the strategies of Radar Selatan Daily in attracting readers is the use of Serawai tribal language in writing the title and content of the news. In addition, maintaining cohesiveness, an attractive newspaper appearance through a display strategy, having closeness to readers through the presentation of news using local languages, and a combination of text and advertising material placed in the right rubric are able to increase the number of circulation increases per year.
