Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the communication between leaders and subordinates to improve and run the wheels of government in the Social Welfare Development Officer of the Bengkulu Mayor's Office. The research method used is qualitative method. To obtain complete and accurate information data in this study, the data collection technique obtained from the author's interview uses qualitative techniques with descriptive methods. And from this method, the results obtained by 7 respondents stated that the communication between leaders and subordinates in carrying out tasks or realizing the vision and mission at the Social Welfare Development Officer of the Bengkulu Mayor's Office was good. The results showed that leaders instruct messages conveyed to subordinates about what they are expected to do and how to do it, where the message explains the purpose of the activity and how the activity is related to other activities. This is intended to seek support from members of the organization to strengthen loyalty, morale and motivation. And to acquaint subordinates with organizational practices, organizational rules, benefits, habits, and other data not related to instructions and organization. The result is the accuracy of individuals in doing their work. Leadership Communication has been able to provide a good message picture so that it can be a motivation, work enthusiasm for employees well.
