Abstract

This study aims to determine and explain the pragmatic aspects contained in the discourse sentences of BRI Simpedes Debit Card advertisements broadcast on the internal television media of BRI Manna Branch Office Penago Unit. This research is a qualitative research with the technique of analyzing aspects of pragmatic studies. Pragmatic analysis deals with the study of the relationship between language and context which is the basis for a record or report of language understanding. The data source in this study is in the form of advertisements aired on BRI's internal television in progress, the data obtained in the form of speech sentences expressed in the BRI product advertisement Simpedes Debit Card, the data is collected using the method of listening and observation to then be used as data described in the form of image and dialog pieces. The data that has been obtained is then analyzed according to aspects of pragmatic studies, namely locution, illocution, perlocution, implicature, presumption and context. The results of the study show that each sentence of BRI Simpedes Debit Card advertisement contains pragmatic aspects such as locutionary speech acts, illocutionary speech acts, perlocutionary speech acts, implicatures, and presumptions. The aspects of pragmatic studies contained in this sentence are expected to convey the message contained in the advertisement and can influence readers to choose BRI Simpedes savings.
