Analisis Framing Pemberitaan Pembunuhan Suami Terhadap Istri Pada Multiplatform Bengkulu Ekspress Media Grup 28 Januari 2020

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the framing of murder cases of husband against wife in Bengkulu Ekspress Media Group Multiplatform. This study uses a qualitative research method with the Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M framing analysis methods, Kosicki, which consists of 4 framing device structures namely Syntax, Script, Thematic, and Rhetorical. This model is used to see the structure of discourse from the mass media and is an art that can produce different conclusions if the analysis is carried out by different people, even though the cases under study are the same. This research was conducted with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The interview here is only to compare with the results of the researchers' analysis. There are 2 news subjects in this study, namely Television Media and Online Media in Bengkulu Ekspress Media Group. The results of this study indicate an imbalance between Television Media and Online Media. This can be seen from several news framing structures for Television Media and Online which are slightly different, such as titles, narratives, and how to package news.
